The Village Hall was gifted to the Parish Council in the 1930s by the Scott family of Rotherfield Park.

The object of the Charity, East Tisted Village Hall, is …”the provision and maintenance of a village hall for use by the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for: 

(a) meetings, lectures and classes, and

(b) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation,

with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.”

East Tisted Village Hall (Charity Number 301811) is responsible for the upkeep of the Village Hall. The Trustees (see below) act on behalf, and in the best interests, of the Charity.

The Village Hall is run by the Village Hall Management Committee who arrange a number of different events throughout the year.
